We could add the following KPIs:

  • On-time Delivery Rate: Measures the percentage of orders delivered on the promised date to the customer. This is a crucial indicator of the reliability of the logistics service.

  • Average Delivery Time: Calculates the average time taken to complete a delivery from the receipt of the order.

  • Cost per Unit Shipped: Measures the total cost of shipping each unit, including storage, transportation, and handling.

  • Return Rate: Indicates the percentage of products returned by customers. A high return rate may signal quality issues or customer dissatisfaction.

  • Damage Claim Rate: Percentage of shipments that arrive damaged to the customer. This can indicate problems in packaging or the transportation process.

  • Perfect Order Rate: Combines several performance measures to determine the percentage of orders delivered without incident, including on-time deliveries, error-free documentation, and undamaged goods.

  • Order Cycle Time: The total time required to process an order from start to finish, from order placement to delivery. A short cycle time can indicate an efficient supply chain.
